This is a prime example of just because a player goes undrafted last season, doesn’t mean that he can’t compete just as well as any other player in the NBA. During an NBA Summer League game last week, Phil Pressey was going one-on-one against former UConn Huskie and National Champion Shabazz Napier and caught him in a nasty crossover on the perimeter. After the crossover, Pressey found an open teammate for an easy 3-pointer.
The rookies on the Boston Celtics will most likely get the same treatment from some of the other veteran players around the NBA when they first start playing preseason and regular season games. This is just the beginning of the “Welcome to the NBA Rookie” series of treatments around the association.
