Throughout the week we like answering questions from those who follow us on Twitter @AllOutBlitzFF. Although we will never be right all of the time, we put quite a bit of thought into why we feel the way we do about various scenarios our followers put in front of us.
The following are a few questions we were asked throughout the week. Maybe you’re faced with a similar scenario and this will help you with those tough matchup, who to start and trade questions.
Q: @Ethan_Murray32 asks: I already played Randall Cobb Thursday Night. Which two of the following do I start? Golden Tate, Michael Crabtree, Pierre Garcon or Markus Wheaton.
A: Golden Tate and Michael Crabtree. With Calvin Johnson sidelined, we like Tate to get the majority of the looks against the Bills secondary. Also Buffalo has a pretty good run defense which will force Detroit to air it out on Sunday.
Q: @28rocks asks: Should I drop Terrance West for Isaiah Crowell?
A: We’d advise against dropping West. Given Ben Tate is due back this week and will likely regain his starting spot in the Brown’s offense, we’d wait and see how the remainder of the workload is distributed in the Cleveland backfield before making any decisions.
Q: @Wakelly23 asks: Who do I start? Hakeem Nicks, Louis Murphy or Jermaine Kearse.
A: We are thinking Murphy will be the better of the three receivers this week. Mike Evans is currently injured which boosts Murphy to the number two receiver in Tampa. The game against New Orleans should force Glennon to throw the ball often which gives Murphy more opportunity.
Q: @mlbarto asks: I am running low on tight ends this week because Vernon Davis is questionable and Niles Paul is playing, but against Seattle. Who should I go with Coby Fleener or Dwayne Allen?
A: Dwayne Allen. Although both players play in the Andrew Luck high octane offense, we feel Allen has pulled ahead of Fleener in the tight end roll for the Colts. Luck has been looking Allen’s way often and should continue doing so.
Q: @Hexfoliation asks: In need of a sneaky play at the tight end position this week, any suggestions?
A: Jermaine Gresham of the Cincinnati Bengals. The Patriots defense has been awful when it comes to covering the tight end position. Take a look at what Travis Kelce did to them last week. It’s not a sure thing given the Bengals haven’t been using the tight end position much in their offense this season but if they watched the video of the Patriots game last week, this may be the week to deploy Gresham.
