My Quarterback Bust of the week: Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins – Tannehill has been a very steady fantasy QB all season long. He has a little over 1900 passing yards and 14 TDs, plus 245 rushing yards. This week The Dolphins go into Detroit and face the top defense in the NFL. The Lions give up an average of 11 fantasy points to opposing QBs and only allow 215 passing yards per game. Look for Tannehill to struggle this week vs. a very good defense.
Other recommended quarterbacks to Bust are: Alex Smith vs. Buffalo Bills; Eli Manning vs. Seattle Seahawks
My Running back Bust of the week: Anthony Dixon, Buffalo Bills – The Bills and their running game face a defense that allows 11.5 fantasy points vs. opposing RBs, this season. Dixon and Brown will have a very tough time getting things going with their legs this week. With all the bye weeks you may not have any other option but if you can, sit the Buffalo Bills backfield this week.
Other recommended running backs to Bust are: Bishop Sankey vs. Baltimore Ravens; Tre Mason vs. Arizona Cardinals
My Wide Receiver Bust of the week: Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars – Robinson has put together a nice season so far, 43 receptions, 488 yards and 2 TDs. Don’t count on Robinson building on those numbers this week vs. a Cowboy defense who allows an average of 16.4 fantasy points to WRs. In London the Jaguars will struggle against a good Dallas D.
Other recommended wide receivers to Bust are: Odell Beckham vs. Seattle Seahawks; Mike Wallace vs. Detroit Lions
My Tight End Bust of the week: Vernon Davis, San Francisco 49ers – Davis has been struggling all year, with only 16 catches, 161 yards and 2 TDs, don’t expect much from him this week either. The Saints are stingy vs. the TE, allowing 3.9 fantasy points this year, vs. opposing TEs. Bench Davis and look for better options at TE this week.
Other recommended tight ends to Bust are: John Carlson vs. St. Louis Rams; Brandon Myers vs. Atlanta Falcons
