QB Start of the Week – Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks vs. Detroit Lions.
Wilson has disappointed fantasy owners so far this season, however, Detroit has allowed 2 out of 3 QB’s to pass for over 300 yards and multiple touchdowns, through 3 games. Russell Wilson gets it done this week vs. Detroit.
QB Sit of the Week – Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets.
The Jets have been exceptional against opposing QB’s this season, allowing an average of 200 passing yards per game, and only 4 touchdowns through 3 games. Tannehill has struggled through 3 games, don’t expect much from him across the pond.
RB Start of the Week – Melvin Gordon, San Diego Chargers vs. Cleveland Browns.
The Browns run defense is a mess right now, allowing a 100 yard rusher through 3 games this season. San Diego and Gordon should be able to establish the run game and Gordon should produce good fantasy numbers.
RB Sit of the Week – Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Bucs vs. Carolina Panthers.
Martin has been losing touches to teammate Sims, every single week. Martin has yet to score a touchdown this season, combine that with a good run defense from the Panthers and I keep Doug Martin on my bench this week.
WR Start of the Week – Pierre Garcon, Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles have struggled with No. 1 receivers this year, Julio Jones in Week 1, Terrence Williams in Week 2 and Brandon Marshall in Week 3 have all scored at least 14 Fantasy points. Kirk Cousins will be targeting Garcon early and often. Expect big things from Pierre this week.
WR Sit of the Week – Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons vs. Houston Texans.
White is being phased out of the offense in Atlanta, he has zero touchdowns and only 4 catches for 84 yards through 3 games this year. Look for a better option this week and keep White benched.
TE Start of the Week – Charles Clay, Buffalo Bills vs. New York Giants.
Clay is a great bye week replacement for Gronkowski, I’m not saying Clay will put up Gronk like fantasy numbers, but the Giants have allowed four tight ends to score at least six Fantasy points already this season. Buffalo wide out Sammy Watkins is questionable going into this game. If Watkins misses the game, Clay will see increased targets.
TE Sit of the Week – Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings vs. Denver Broncos.
Denver’s secondary has played well this season. They have slowed down both Eric Ebron and Travis Kelce, allowing less than 6 or less fantasy points. Based on the tough matchup for Rudolph, keep him benched and look for a better option.
